As light fades high above, a dialogue rages within. Do I wait for sunset? Checks my desire to walk in the dark. Low. Checks my appetite. High. Checks my GPS. Fuck, how is the hut still 2 hours away? Checks my watch. Three hours until the light matches the grass among our feet. Checks my options to camp the night. I'm above the tree line with a hammock. Nope. We marched on. @zc0rp10 and @carlienbootsma led the way down from Stag Saddle. The highest point on the TA at 1925m. We followed the ridgeline down to Camp Stream Hut with Lake Tekapo holding our gaze in the distance.
